No RRP obligation for the new TSR40 system in Magdeburg
The scrap recycler TSR wants to further increase the processing capacities for its certified high-quality recycling product TSR40. After commissioning a new shredding system in Duisburg last year and another in Amsterdam this year, the Remondis subsidiary is now pushing ahead with its expansion plans for the Magdeburg location. The Saxony-Anhalt State Administration Office, which is responsible for approval, has now decided that no environmental impact assessment (EIA) needs to be carried out for the project. The proposed changes are not expected to have any significant adverse environmental impacts.
