    Pediatric Trauma Program 2017 Report Critical Moments Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center The pediatric trauma experts at Nationwide Children’s are involved in all aspects of care, including pre- hospital, emergency department, critical care, inpatient care, operative management, rehabilitation and outpatient care. Our multidisciplinary approach allows us to provide trauma patients with exceptional care and serves as a resource for injury prevention and education for central Ohio and beyond. Our program is supported by a wide-range of pediatric surgical sub-specialists including; critical care, orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, plastic surgery, anesthesia, emergency medicine and pediatric trauma surgery. Our patients also benefit from outstanding support services with 24-hour in-house radiology coverage, state-of-the-art rehabilitation facilities and a comprehensive, Pediatric Burn Program verified by the American Burn Association, and a Trauma Program verified by the American College of Surgeons.
