TAWERS G4 welding works strengthen the production of shock absorbers at the ThyssenKrupp Bilstein plant
Panasonic in cooperation with the local SC Total Techniques Solutions SRL partner has completed a comprehensive implementation of the Tawers G4 welding robot system, transferring the digitization of the production hall to a completely new level. The implementation covered the modernization of two welding cells, which for over a decade continuously supported the production of shock absorbers. The new heart of production is six Tawers G4 welding robots, whose performance and compactness significantly exceed older solutions. Thanks to faster signal processing and optimized communication between the controller and the robot arm, Tawers G4 not only accelerates the welding process, but also improves its accuracy. The integrated transformer has reduced the dimensions of the device, which translates into saving space without compromises in the field of durability and reliability. An important element of implementation is advanced offline programming software - DTPS (Digital Throughput Programming System).
