Agipress -Roma -Rockwool, world leader in the creation of sustainable products and solutions in rock wool, has published the 2024 Sustainability Spotlight, in which it has shared the results achieved over the past year in terms of sustainability, industrial decarbonization and reduction of the emissions of its establishments all over the world. By measuring its impact on sustainability compared to the six unit development objectives of the United Nations (SDG) and the two objectives of the Science-Based Targets Initiative (SBTI), Rockwool is making good progress on both fronts. In fact, the company is in advance of the 2030 objective as regards the reduction of emissions for tonne of rock wool produced and other objectives related to the SDGs, just as it is also halfway through the scope 1 and Scope 2 objectives of the SBTI focused on the reduction of absolute greenhouse gas emissions, which Rockwool has committed to reducing by 38% by 2034.
