Frasers (FRAS) shares were up 9 per cent in early trading after the Sports Direct owner reported a 13 per cent increase in adjusted pre-tax profit, with the £545mn posting for the year to 28 April at the top end of its guidance range. The retailer also boosted its gross margin, which climbed 40 basis points to 43.3 per cent.
