Toyota has collaborated with Transatel, a subsidiary of NTT data and leader of global cellular connectivity solutions, to boost the deployment of vehicle services connected in Latin America. As part of the collaboration, the NTT Data Transatel Multinetwork cards are now integrated into Toyota vehicles produced for the LATAM market, allowing services such as telematics and Wi-Fi Hotspots on board. The launch, which is already in operation for clients in Brazil and Argentina, will expand to Ecuador, Colombia, Panama, Dominican Republic, Peru and Chile in 2025.
