These designs cover power levels from 16W to 120W, and use winding transformers or flat plane transformers. They are suitable for scenarios such as DC-DC bus conversion, inverter emergency power supply, battery management and auxiliary system power supply in automotive applications. Its IC is powered by Power Integrations' new wide creepage InSOP™-28G package, which can apply a high voltage of 1000VDC on the primary side while providing appropriate creepage and electrical clearance between pins in a contaminated level 2 environment.
