ACME Solar to set up 100 MW solar power plant in Rajasthan
ACME Solar is planning to set up a 100 mega watt solar power plant in Rajasthan at a cost of Rs 808 crore. The investment will be supported by International Finance Corporation, which is expected to support the project by way of Loan and possible syndication.According to IFC's project disclosure the power plant will be developed by Acme Solar, through its five wholly owned subsidiaries, Ranji Solar Energy Private Limited, Acme Gurgaon Power Private Limited, Acme Rajdhani Power Private Limited, Acme Mumbai Power Private Limited and Medha Energy Private Limited.The greenfield project will come at Bari Seer in the Jodhpur district of Rajasthan. Estimated cost of the project is Rs 808 crore (around $136 million). The proposed IFC investment consists of an IFC 'A' Loan of up to Rs 201.9 crore (around $34 million) and possible syndication of up to Rs 388.3 crore (around $ 66 million).The Project is the second and final tranche of the overall envelope for debt funding in the amount of $50 mil
