Since Gummi Grassau was taken over by the wholesaler RS Exclusiv at the end of 2003 and joined the “First Stop” partnership concept, a lot has developed in the northern German retail landscape. Not only that, the Japanese tire company Bridgestone has since had a significantly improved presence in the north and northeast of the country. Instead, completely new perspectives arise for the wholesaler from Neumünster when it comes to the further development of its own trading business and the achievement of synergy effects in relation to logistics. While Gummi Grassau started with twelve branches under the new owner, managing director André Reinke was only able to take over parts of T+T Reifenwelt in March of this year.
