Acuity Brands settles patent infringment suit with B-K -
SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Acuity Brands said Monday that it has settled a patent infringement lawsuit it filed against B-K Lighting in July 2004. The Atlanta-based light fixture company had claimed that B-K's Tenaya line infringed its in-grade lighting products patent. Under the terms of the settlement, B-K agreed to stop manufacturing and selling its Tenaya products.
