Genpact carries out BPO tasks for Sanoma
After outsourcing a large part of its IT, publishing group Sanoma also appears to have outsourced its financial administration. The Finnish group has entered into a contract with Genpact, an Indian specialist in business process outsourcing (BPO). According to Sanoma, fewer people have been dismissed from the administrative department as a result of the BPO contract: fifty instead of the intended number of 65 employees. Of the fifty, thirty worked in Finland and twenty in the Netherlands.
