SingPost: Member of the Board of Directors Lin Qingqing resigned with immediate effect -
SingPost, which has been mired in leadership turmoil, announced that Lin Qingqing, who is about to step down as corporate director of Singtel Group, will no longer serve as a non-executive and non-independent director of SingPost. According to documents submitted by SingPost to the Singapore Exchange on Monday (23rd), the company's non-executive and non-independent director Lim Ching Ching has submitted a resignation application, and the resignation will take effect on that day. "With Ms. Lin's resignation, she will no longer serve as a member of the Finance and Investment Committee." SingPost also said that Lin Qingqing was appointed since April 2017 and has served on the SingPost board of directors for more than seven and a half years. In addition, Singtel also said in a press release last month that 52-year-old Lin Qingqing would resign as group corporate director on the grounds of seeking other development. Sing Telecom is the largest shareholder of Sing Post.
