"One Code Two Cities": Alipay+ Helps Hong Kong tourists to "one app to visit Chengdu City" - China Daily Network
With the increasing enthusiasm for going north, Hong Kong people are becoming more and more convenient to use mobile payments when they leave the Greater Bay Area. On March 20, Chengdu Tianfutong Company, a subsidiary of Chengdu Jiaozi Financial Holding Group, cooperated with Alipay+ to officially launch the "Overseas electronic wallet access to Chengdu Tianfutong ride code" service. As a result, Chengdu became the first city in the southwest region to use overseas wallets to seamlessly connect all scenarios, and Hong Kong's "Alipay" AlipayHK also became the first overseas electronic wallet to support Chengdu's entire subway line. Through the connection of Alipay+ cross-border service, Hong Kong passengers can use their commonly used electronic wallet AlipayHK to easily scan the code to board the 16 subway lines and more than 1,700 urban bus lines across Chengdu.
