That was in line with industry peer Fitch's adjustment of its long-term outlook for France to "negative" earlier in the month. Commentators we cover reacted to this with warnings about the state of France's finances, and hints that French government bond yields could soar - particularly if the outlook revisions were followed by downgrades. But Fisher Investments Norden believes that the whole thing misses the mark considerably.
